Seeking Shalom Summer Round Tables.
This summer we are experimenting with a new summer study format. We will be meeting once a month (July 18; August 8; & September 12) at 6:30 pm to enjoy a meal and to grow in our understanding of God and God’s desire for thriving communities. Seeking Shalom will challenge us to take a more holistic view of poverty and will equip us to create real and lasting change in our community. Leaders in community development, biblical scholars, and small and large group conversations will guide us through core principles that go beyond meeting material needs and to finding “shalom.” (*If you missed the first session, but would still like to participate please let me know and I can send you handouts and access to the videos so you can catch up.)

Community Vacation Bible School.
Our theme this year is “Stay Salty, Shine Bright,” we will be looking at Matthew 5:13-16. Kids who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to a fun-filled week of games, music, snacks, Bible stories, and crafts. Call the SPCC office for more information (836-2770), or register online at www.soparkcc.org/VBS. If you might be interested in volunteering please respond to this email for more information.
